The special construction by Japanese star architect Sou Fujimoto rests on its glass substructure like the umbrella of a forest mushroom. You look up through shiny light shafts as if through a canopy of leaves. The peepholes of the hollow roof are lined with golden ALUCOBOND® panels, which lend the incident light a warm tone. The highlight of the crowd-puller: 30,000 shimmering golden ALUCOBOND® leaves on the underside of the roof, which create an enchanting atmosphere with their geometric variety - inspired by the Japanese puzzle game Tangram.
