In Switzerland, building authorities from the federal government, cantons and cities have joined together in the ecobau association with the aim of further strengthening ecological and healthy building. Its members also include organisations such as the KBOB (Coordination Conference of the Construction and Property Bodies of the Public Building Contractors KBOB - Confederation), CRB and educational institutions. The association's activities centre on the development and dissemination of planning tools which support planners and architects with sustainable, ecological and healthy construction methods in all phases of construction.
