Fuorisalone 2026: Where Art Meets Architecture
An immersive pavilion exploring material contrasts and spatial experience
As part of this year’s Fuorisalone in Milan – one of the world’s most important events for design and architecture – ALUCOBOND® was involved in an extraordinary project in the public space.
The pavilion invites visitors to experience the space not only visually, but also physically. The interplay of light, surface, and structure creates a unique atmosphere that reveals new impressions depending on perspective and movement. The clear geometry of the outer shell stands in a dynamic dialogue with the forms inside, creating a spatial experience that encourages visitors to linger and explore.
The design studio Amdl Circle conceived and realized an impressive pavilion on site, constructed using our high-quality aluminium composite material. The project is based on the interplay of two contrasting elements: the precision of the aluminium composite surface and the materiality of the handcrafted plaster figures placed within the niches. The structure, consisting of a wooden frame clad in warm white ALUCOBOND® panels, forms a small, inhabitable space with an entrance, an exit, and four connecting points, each corresponding to an exhibition niche.
