Rotterdam’s green belt is reflected in the school windows. Set deeply recessed into the façade, these windows are framed by bronze-coloured ALUCOBOND® premium anodised tray panels. Offering both protection against the sun and creating covered entrance ways over the numerous doors in the building.
The pale,, neutral shade of real anodized aluminium featured on the building’s surface communicates a friendly but robust impression. This is a perfect fit for the vocational school’s concept: it is a sheltered space for young people and its restaurant and bicycle workshop are also open to district residents.
