Sustainable, energy-efficient façade renovation
Re-use and recycling are also playing an increasingly important role in the refurbishment of façades. The simple and sustainable refurbishment of old external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) is the topic of the online symposium on 26 September at 5 pm by Schöck with leading manufacturers of façade construction. Experts from Deutsche Rockwool, Henke, 3A Composites and Schöck will use the example of the Augusta Clinic in Bochum to explain the advantages and benefits of the energy and resource-saving renovation solution with a rear-ventilated façade (VHF). The event is free of charge and will be broadcast via livestream.
The following speakers and presentations are awaiting the participants:
Manuel Nölle from Henke AG, one of the leading suppliers of building envelopes, will provide an overview of the refurbishment at the Augusta Clinic and the challenges involved. Matthias Bischof from insulation material manufacturer Rockwool explains the insulation used for the refurbishment. Werner Venter from Schöck will talk about fastening of the VHF thermal bridge-free with Isolink. Finally, Carsten Neise from 3A Composites will present the new façade cladding and its advantages.
