We are continuously looking for ways to reduce our environmental Impact so our customers can focus on business priorities without compromising sustainability.
The ever-increasing demand for resources means it is crucial we find ways to reduce waste and reuse what is already available. This is reflected in our health and safety, energy, environmental and quality management systems etc., which are certified by ISO, an external organisation .
That is why sustainability is a key priority in our new corporate strategy.

As a company, we design and market products and functional solutions that make the world more beautiful, safer and more sustainable.
Mission
We develop, produce and promote high quality polymer and paper sheets as well as aluminium composite materials. By 2035 our products will be manufactured carbon neutral, be 100% recyclable and enable solutions leaving a minimal environmental footprint.

In line with the UN's Decade of Action announced in 2020, we are determined to set ourselves clear sustainability targets and to actively monitor and manage them .

Reducing CO2 footprint
Achieving climate neutrality is probably the most significant factor in safeguarding our planet. Our contribution to this very ambitious goal is our on-going work to reduce emissions in all our business operations areas and along the value chain.
Developing sustainable and innovative products
At 3A Composites, our special focus has always been on “Research & Development”. Our engineers are passionate about making existing products better or creating new products that offer our customers greater benefits in terms of quality, functionality, processing, environmental impact and life cycle.
Advancing the circular economy
In terms of sustainability, one of the most important aspects is contributing to environmental protection by saving valuable raw materials and avoiding waste. In addition to pre-consumer recycling which is practised at our sites, we want to show how panels can be recycled after use. Sustainable development goals
Our sustainability management is based on the United Nations (Sustainable Development Goals / SDGs). These goals came into force on 1 January 2016 as part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Our approach to sustainability is in line with the framework provided by the UN, focusing is on the four SDGs which our company can best implement.
To define the sustainability topics most important for 3A Composites Europe, we conducted a materiality analysis. Our materiality analysis aid us to understand the relevance of the topics identified for our business and the environment. The topics were selected based on the 3A Composites materiality analysis and adapted to our core markets.
In Addition, we have defined strategic measures for these markets which specifically address our customers' sustainability requirements . In terms of efforts to promote sustainability, our aim is to be a benchmark in the Industry, and, in so doing, live up to our responsibilities as a brand leader.
